Stockwell Safety NEBOSH Scholarship 2025

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Scholarship is open to individuals aged 18 years or over.
1.2 Entrants must have a LinkedIn account and ensure their profile and entry post are public at the time of entry and throughout the voting period.
1.3 Stockwell Safety employees, directors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

2. Prize

2.1 The winner will receive one free place on the NEBOSH General Certificate (online course only).
2.2 The prize does not include classroom delivery, travel, accommodation, or any other expenses.
2.3 The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

3. Entry Requirements

3.1 To enter, participants must:

  1. Post their idea for improving workplace health & safety on LinkedIn (minimum 150 words or a video up to 2 minutes).
  2. Tag @Stockwell Safety and use the hashtag #StockwellSafetyScholarship in their post.
  3. Submit the URL of their LinkedIn post via the official entry form provided by Stockwell Safety.

3.2 Only entries that meet the above criteria will be eligible.
3.3 Each entrant may only submit one entry.

4. Shortlisting & Voting

4.1 Stockwell Safety will shortlist up to 5 finalists based on clarity, originality, and relevance of their ideas.
4.2 The winner will be the finalist whose LinkedIn post receives the highest number of likes by [time] on [date].
4.3 Comments, shares, or any other engagement will not count towards the vote tally.
4.4 In the event of a tie, Stockwell Safety reserves the right to determine the winner at its discretion.

5. Partial Scholarship

5.1 All eligible entrants who do not win will be offered a £200 discount (“Partial Scholarship”) against the NEBOSH General Certificate (online course only).
5.2 The Partial Scholarship discount must be redeemed within 7 days of the winner announcement.
5.3 Only one discount code may be used per transaction. Discount codes cannot be combined with other promotions, transferred, re-sold, or exchanged for cash.
5.4 If a refund is required for a course purchased using the discount, the refund will equal the amount actually paid, subject to Stockwell Safety’s standard refund policies.

6. Responsibilities & Disqualification

6.1 Entrants are responsible for ensuring their LinkedIn posts are visible and remain public for the duration of the campaign.
6.2 Stockwell Safety reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who engages in conduct contrary to the spirit of these Terms & Conditions, including but not limited to:

  1. Use of fake accounts, bots, or artificial engagement.
  2. Misrepresentation of eligibility or entry requirements.

6.3 Stockwell Safety accepts no responsibility for technical issues (including LinkedIn outages, third-party software/hardware failures, or connectivity problems) which may affect entries or voting.

7. Promotional Period

7.1 Entries open on [date] and close at [time/date].
7.2 Voting will close at [time/date].
7.3 The winner will be announced on [date].

8. Rights to Amend / Cancel

8.1 Stockwell Safety reserves the right to alter, amend, or cancel the Scholarship or these Terms & Conditions at any stage if deemed necessary, including in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

9. Decision & Disputes

9.1 Stockwell Safety’s decision regarding any aspect of the Scholarship is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.2 Engagement counts will be verified by Stockwell Safety at the close of voting. Screenshots will be retained and may be published for transparency.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 The contract between each entrant and Stockwell Safety shall be deemed to have been formed and performed in the UK
