If your work will be mainly based in the United Kingdom, choose the National General Certificate.

International General Certificate (online course)

The International version of the General Certificate may serve you better if you’re based outside the UK. Most of the content is the same, but the sections dealing with health and safety regulation focus more on global standards in place of UK-based legislation.

There are no entry requirements for this qualification, however it is important that you have a suitable standard of English language in order to understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus.  
NEBOSH recommends that e-Learners undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests. This test is not mandatory.
